Reliable power supply
Founded in 1938 the first activities of BENNING included electrical installations and motor repairs. This activity has grown during the last decades and today customers are not only in Germany but also in several neighbouring countries.
1948 was the start of the development and production of the well known tester DUSPOL® and DUTEST®. Today this product line has grown into a large number of other test and measurement products and experts from all over the world estimate these products as practical and reliable instruments.

In 1954 the company started to manufacture battery chargers for the forklift truck industry. With a policy of continuous product improvement and investment in new technology BENNING became one of the market leaders and a preferred partner for the OEM and battery industry.
With the development of DC power supplies in 1964, BENNING expanded its product portfolio to enter a new market segment.
The increasing introduction of microelectronics, in systems and equipment for automation, energy distribution as well as for telecommunications and data systems technology needed more and more power supplies and battery assisted power solutions.
Today all central control and monitoring electronic systems have to be protected against failure of the mains supply by an additional back-up system.
BENNING has supplied a lot of high quality and innovative back-up systems during the last decades and has developed an international presence in many countries.
BENNING has established a world-wide presence with assembly, sales and service centers in 20 countries to ensure technical competence, quality support and service to all customers.
